Throughout that original Advent – on that very first Christmas Eve – no one knew exactly what lay in store. The whole world waited. Watching. Wondering. Since the Prophet had penned the final words of the Old Testament 400 year earlier it now seemed that finally everything was about to change. But how? On that very first “Night Before Christmas” all the world – both friends and enemies of God’s eternal plan – found themselves suddenly apprehensive – many fearful. All anticipating and wondering what really was about to happen – come Christmas.
